Peace Award for Peace Education
The Phillips University of Marburg awarded Peace Educator Prof. Dr. Gavriel Salomon (Haifa University, Israel) as well as the Day Care Center for Arab and Jewish Children at Risk, Jaffa and Dr. Sapir Handelman, founder of Minds of Peace, with the Peter Becker-Prize for Peace and Conflict Studies. The laudatory speech „Peace Education in the 21st Century“ was given by Uli Jäger, ift. Previuosly, the Peter Becker Prize was given to the project Peace Counts on Tour.
